The Deep Heart

Not Knowing and the Awakening of the Deep Heart

we must first be willing to see the limits of the ordinary mind and give up the illusion of being in complete control
will all we are listening itself and not the objects or the thoughts
the nature of this listening is all inclusive open awareness
we are the heart of awareness which is not separate from anything or anyone
it is a radically simple discovery
what is being true all along becomes obvious even if it astonishes the ordinary mind
if we want to abide in the heart we must be willing to see the limits of the ordinary mind
rational thinking is useful but insufficient
we must turn to another source for guidance
the ordinary mind is a good servant but a poor master
when it doesn’t know its limits it easily becomes a misguided arrogant tyrant
the voice of heart wisdom is more like a murmur
the quiet guest at the noisy dinner table of normal life
letting go comes from clear seeing
when we see through an illusion it no longer has power over us
we feel well used, most of us have felt like this at some stage in our life
we can enjoy a sense of seeing and being seen at a profound level
two traps, narcissistic inflation and the second is to mistake the essential qualities of this level is the goal of the spiritual quest
the great heart of awareness
we are whole and not separate from anything
and we know this is true everyone whether they realise it or not
this recognition releases us the need to be special
Love is unconditional there are no strings attached
and no bargains to make
the scope of this love is all embracing
as the great heart opens with since the suffering of others more acutely
even as our own suffering resolves
when we discover the great or universal heart, the great mother, we can discover that which holds it all
when a great heart opens we have a sense that all is well no matter what
we feel ourselves at rest in our home ground
intimate with all things
but this intimacy is not personal
the greatest intimacy is the least personal
when this is known and felt the heart has awakened to its true nature
seeking will go on forever see it for what it is and you will be whole
confident that you will discover that reality is undivided
